All day Monday my Hoof hurt pretty badly. It still hadn’t completely healed from all the dance-dance-dance we partook of a few weeks ago (The night where I brass danced a pole and accosted Rollie, the family pitbull) and it didn’t help that Sharon and I taxed it with all the dance-dance-dance from Sunday night at Industria. (I love how I dance like a girl and she dances leather-whippy.)

I took a couple more CDs to DJ Savage (Who is sadly stepping down from DJing duties at Industria so another can take over, but he says that over the next few weeks there will be some discussions on how to improve the night overall. He’ll still be there DJing a bit, but not as much) one CD was what I labeled: Quasi-Goth. It included acts such as: Collide, Rasputina, And One, 45 Grave, Tear Garden etc… and then another CD called: Quasi-Industrial-Rock. I wanted to rough it up with more rock stuff like 16 Volt, Machines of Loving Grace etc. It was a pleasant evening. It was the first time I got to hear Mesh’s new single (Crash – Alien Six Kerosene Remix) on the big speakers and when we were leaving he started spinning And One’s Sometimes. I overheard someone complain about all the ‘house music’ he was supposedly spinning – this was spoken while Virtual Embrace’s Fuck You was playing; which elicited a snicker from me. House music? Umm…ok. We would have stayed out longer and danced our asses off for another hour, but work duties and early morning personal training cut our evening short.
